Ilyès ABDELJAOUAD

Ilyès ABDELJAOUED is the cofounder and Manager Associate of Smart Consult.

Ilyès ABDELJAOUAD has important experience in the area of general and economic studies in the environment, infrastructure and industrial enterprise sectors. Formerly head of the economic studies department within the STUDI Consulting Firm, he has carried-out several studies on the agribusiness, textile industry and Electro-mechanical sectors. These studies included the restructuring and the development of management strategies in order to face the Tunisia-European Union free trade agreement challenge. He is currently working on the privatization of public utilities (sewage treatment and solid waste management). His fields of competence particularly concern the definition and establishment of regulatory institutional and financial solutions which are destined to encourage the private sector's and more generally the public sector's participation in the area of environmental services.

Until March 2008, he was also the executive manager of Mediascan Tunisia, a joint venture between SMART Consult and Creargie Maroc, specialized in market and media research.
