DCN is one of the few naval defence companies in the world to propose an integrated approach to warships and services. As a prime contractor, shipbuilder and systems integrator, the company offers resources and expertise spanning the entire naval defence value chain and product lifecycles, from design concept to decommissioning. I am working for a conventional-propulsion submarines. I am responsible of the conception of air independent propulsion (AIP) system, the name of the product is MESMA. It is composed of steam-cycle thermodynamics and machines. This system is improving submerged endurance in silent mode, as well as acoustic discretion, safety, reliability and simplicity of operation. | |
