| 2004 till now:Directeur Supply Chain, DANONE WATERS UK, London Having been recruited in a difficult context in term of cost control and service, the challenge has been to redesign the whole supply chain in order to both secure service in a very demanding environment whilst controlling the costs which represent more than 25% of company’s turnover - Management of a 30 people team organised in 3 departments (4 direct reports) - Implementation of new team and processes including SAP and APO (DP + SNP) - Total reengineering of the logistic network including in France and Belgium - Re-tendering of all transport contract and implementation of a new transport management organisation - Responsibility of a > £30M budget and delivery of significant savings - Development of supply chain partnerships with top strategic customers
2000 to 2004: Directeur flux Danone Eaux France Danone Eaux France produces Evian, Volvic, Badoit and other leading brands for domestic and export markets. Implemented the first supply chain central team between 2000 and 2002 including taking over responsibility of export customer services. In a second stage a strengthened planning and forecasting team was recruited as well as taking the responsibility for the domestic customer service: - Management of a 60 people team organised in 5 departments (5 direct reports) - Piloting of a 4M pallets flow with 50% export (UK, Germany, Japan and USA…) - Permanent trade off between cost and customer service in a constrained environment - Design, recruitment and/or reorganization of the existing team from scratch - Implementation of the related processes & tools including IT - Realization of significant savings while improving the service level - Temporary managed the whole supply chain team (12 months)
KPMG Consulting France – Manager (Paris) Within the KPMG Paris office, Henri-Xavier Benoist carried out assignments in the area of supply chain re-engineering and performance improvement. This included some jobs for manufacturing activities, logistics, air transport, etc. - Process reengineering & Change management - ERP and planning advanced planning tools implementation - Design and implementation of logistic and manufacturing reengineering - Commercial activity to sell new jobs & develop network with customers
Thales Engineering & Consulting (Paris) Within the consulting practice of the Thales group (defence & electronic), Henri-Xavier Benoist carried out assignments in the area of physical logistic and process reengineering: - Simulation and physical & financial studies of logistic facilities - Follow up of physical implementation & project management - Typical project: Redesign and actual implementation of the Air France Freight hub in Paris. 100 M.Euros investment. 3 years implementation.
