The Technology Commercialization Office seeks to transfer technology developed at The University of Georgia (UGA) to commercial companies. Commercialization of UGA technologies contributes to economic development and provides research funds for UGA.

• Specialist fields: biology (human, microorganism, plant) and chemistry
• Dealing with the complete range of Industrial Property activities: drafting and prosecuting patent applications before the EPO and outside Europe (USA, Japan, Australia...), holding oral proceedings at the EPO, prosecuting oppositions to granted European patents and appeals, assessing the freedom to operate and assessing the validity of applications or patents, licensing, drafting intellectual property agreements (research contracts, MTA...)
