Innovation Director Consumer Europe
Responsible for delivering a 2% volume growth (25% of the total growth target for the European region) by managing the full NPD programme across Europe. Head of a team of 6 people spread across two countries.
Main achievements include:
 Establishing a highly professional pan-European team based in 3 countries able to work effectively with Local Marketers
 Designing and implementing up NPD process and systems to work effectively at European level
 Reviewing brands commonalities and driving opportunities for brands vision alignment
 Developing regional category strategies and innovation programmes
 Driving the innovation programmes leading to the first ever Global product launch at McCormick (Europe, US, Canada, Australia, Japan)
 Co-leading with US counterpart the Global innovation efforts reporting to the Global Executive Consumer group
 Transferring concept ideas and/or new products from Europe to the business centres of McCormick.
Overall, new products accounted for 4% growth in 2005. First Global product reached nearly 2% total NSV of Consumer’s business worldwide.
