Lanetco International is a French company based in ‘Haute-Savoie’ into the ‘International Business Park’ of Archamps, at the Switzerland border. Lanetco manufactures giant screens made of an assembly of rear-projection modules in DLP technology, and Texas Instruments patented. The enterprise creates and manufactures the projector parts, but is mainly specialized into video processors for more than 15 years, with most of them available for other kind of displays such as LCD. Those ‘Video Walls’ are essentially made for the market of rooms for command and control, conference, crisis, etc., in domain such as energy, industry, telecoms, security, transportation, traffic, etc. Originally created in Toronto, Canada, Lanetco has there a sales agency in charge of the North American market for 3 years now. Another agency for sales and installations has been created one year ago in Germany. Lanetco counts many distributors and resellers in many countries. The activity of the enterprise is actually realized at 90% out of France and 80% out of Europe. At Lanetco, my position is mixed commercial and technical: I first assume commercial tasks: Clients search, realization and follow-up of projects, sales, follow-up of clients, participation in trade shows, presentations on client’s sites or in our company, pre-project visits... I’m mainly in charge of America, and more precisely of Mexico and Latin America, even if I have regular projects in many other countries. Also, I’m taking care about design and marketing: I create and realize commercial documents, for promotion, and also manuals and technical documentation. Finally, I have a technical occupation which includes the supervision and realization of installations on site, technical support, maintenance, training of clients and partners, test and search of solutions, writings of reports, etc. To accomplish all this actions, I travel all over the world a major part of my time.
