As R&D project manager, I collect needs expressed by my internal customers and deliver an experimental solution . To sum up, my project – called EXPODIA – consists in identifying new tools or new processes to improve performance of operational activities for the distribution network. I organised the project in 3 steps:
• Technology & Business processes observatory : We look at innovation from software editors, hardware manufacturers or telecom operators. We study international utilities in terms of workforce management as well as our own resources.
• Experimentations : when finding a new process or a new tool, we experiment it in the field
• Consulting and support : if an experimentation is successful, we support our internal customer in the national roll-out.
Deliveries are evaluated on their economic potential and impacts on business processes.
