I have learned at INSA de Rennes (France), National Institute of Applied Sciences, a French engineering school where I have prepared a master of engineering with major "Mechanical and Automatical engineering".
I currently carry out my semester of my fifth year in the Rochester Institute of Technology (Rochester, NY, USA).
These two complemetary formations enabled me to learned both various and highly-specialized schedudles such as the mechanics of the fluids, automatism, Material Resistance, Study of materials (metals, composites, ...), robotics, aeronautics, heat transfer, leadership and management.
I was also very involved in the student community life of my school. I was in particular treasurer of the organisation (budget: 600.000 euros = 840.000 dollars) then Responsible for the festival Rock' N Solex, the oldest student French festival and second musical event of Rennes (budget: 400.000 euros = 560.000 dollars and 30.000 people concerned). This self-training let me develop my initiative and the way I am organized. It also shows that I am used to take responsibilities and to accept new challenges.

DCNS was born in 2007 from the fusion between the "Direction des Chantiers Navals" (DCN), whose majority shareholder was French government, and Thales Naval. This fusion also marks the entry of Thales as an industrial partner in the capital of the group for a total amount of 25%. DCNS is a major actor on the worldwide market of the naval systems of defense with high-added value. By the creation of this new group, DCNS wants to become the European leader of the defense naval sector and so, to be the main actor of the creation of a European consortium. I carried out my training course in Brest in the electromechanical department which depends on the Submarine Direction. My role was to provide a tool of planning and decision-making aid. I also planed and organized the follow-up of the electro-auxiliaries' repairs for the carry-helicopters “the Jeanne of Arc” and for the Frigate “the Georges Leygues". I was too the contact for the clients and for the people of the workshop. | |

Gruau Laval is carriage-builder-equipment supplier in automobile industry and is number 1 European in his field. It deals with the installation of specific vehicles (vehicles for people with reduced mobility, freight vehicles), and produced for Renault, a lengthened model of its Kangoo, which can also be transformed to become a vehicle for anybody with reduced mobility. This was my first real experience in a company. So I was worker there. I was confronted with the industrial reality and with the reality of manual work while working as: - Operator on the production line of lengthened Kangoo, - Operator for the prototypes, - And finally storekeeper. This training course enabled me to have a comprehensive view of the organization of an intermediate size company. | |
