My assignments:
• Navigation
In the context of an offshore seismic survey, participates in real-time positioning of the vessel
and calculation of final coordinates of emitting and receiving devices.
Monitors all aspects of positioning and the recording of navigation data.
Monitors the quality of navigation and processes navigation data.
• Data recording
In the context of an offshore seismic survey, participates in all Recording department
operations, including streamers and tools for monitoring the source devices.
Monitors and records data of excellent quality in accordance with contractual specifications.
• Mechanics
In the context of an offshore seismic survey, helps to ensure proper operation and
maintenance of all mechanical equipment aboard, source devices and the head rigging for
streamers (buoys, floats, diverging paravanes, tow cables etc.).
