- Played an interface role between external lawyers and tax advisors
- Oversaw tax compliance issues for statutory purposes on both accounting and tax matters
- Stat to GAAP analysis. Analysed and documented drivers of differences of various group companies between US, Spanish, French, Portuguese and Italian GAAP by highlighting calculation method differences and specific regulatory practices.
- Assisting European Interim Process audit for KPMG review. This includes process documentation reviews and presentation to auditor for around 100 legal entities across Europe.
- Integration of a French legal entity in liquidation to the Shared Service Centre process. This resulted by the creation of two distinct sets of books for both US and French GAAP. Successfully integrated by 31/12/2006 as per GE deadline.
- Participated to preparation of consolidation of GE companies reporting to Banque de France
- Transitioned and integrated companies to the European standardized financial process
