As a civil Engineer in the construction business for eighteen years, I have in fact held a number of different positions. In turn, I have been designer, cost estimator, contract manager, site manager, project manager and general manager. Successively, I have taken part in, and / or managed, highway-, power plant-, car-park-, tunnel-, dam-, airport-, hotel-, shopping-mall-, and Industrial plants construction projects in Malaysia, India, Hong-Kong, Thailand, France, Sweden, Singapore, Vietnam and China. These undertakings were all completed satisfactorily and profitably. By consistently maintaining good relationships with the different actors of complex projects I succeeded in federating my co-workers in order to achieve the project goals.
Graduated from MBA HEC program in 2002, I complemented my knowledge of the construction field with managerial, marketing, financial, and legal know-how. I won the best business plan award year 2001 from HEC foundation and put my new skills in good use by implementing successfully a cost control system while I was production manager in 2003.
After a successful experience in China as a project manager for a Glass production unit, I initiated and managed the creation from scratch of the Shanghai subsidiary of a French engineering firm providing Construction Project Management Services to industrialists. To date, we have secured seven contracts, five of which were completed to our clients’ satisfaction and as a result we have secured, in June 2006, a frame agreement with one major European industrialist to cover their projects in Asia.
