Even if I'm born in France, I have always been working with latin countries and especially with Italy where my family is from.
I like making business which means understanding a category/an industry, building relationship and creating value.
I like running a business because this is all about taking initiatives and risks, setting clear directions and motivating the people you work with. Managing & coaching people is definitely the most diffcult part but as well the most intersting one and the most powerful lever to get all together where we have decided to go. Sharing the same objective (possibly the same passion), giving prompt feedback, acting transparently are good pilars to build trust, and trust is the main basis to build value.
I have a financial background. This enables me to understand the P&L impacts of business decisions. P&L and Balance Sheet are good metrics to measure the performance.
I get a very strong marketing approach and I like the trade relationship.
One of my main skills is that I like having a broad picture. I like questioning/challenging because movement is what creates value and I like efficiency because time is not an infinite resource.

The team is comprised of 4 main departments (sales, mktg, supply chain & sales admin, localisation). Together with the team, we have re-elaborated the strategy to gain market share on the Italian videogame market and consolidate our leadership position. We consequently have reorganised both our retailers' portfolio and our salefield team (8 salesrep) to stick to our business model (direct retailers on one side and indirect wholesalers on the other side) to bring more added value to our partners and ultimately more visibility on store for our Intelectual Properties. Making more profit with our partners, we have been in a position to renegotiate our Trade & Conditions and to shorten our payments terms. In terms of marketing, our goal is to turn our Intelectual Properties into real Italian brands. We have set as well new objectives for our marketing team so that the PM can focus on the whole life cycle of our Intelectual properties and build strong online communities. We have as well streamlined our Supply chain & Sales Admin processes to reduce our cost to serve and be quicker to the market to avoid any retail shortage and to reduce our partners inventory.

From 2002 to 2006, I managed the (Financial and Planning Analysis) FP&A team for the Southern Region of EA. Reporting to the General Manager of this region (France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Benelux, South America), I managed the forecast and planning process, the performance measurement and the costs control. However, the main part of my job was to provide financial business intelligence to the GM of the region and to the Country Managers of each territory in order to anticipate our performances on one hand and maximise the opportunities/downsize the risks on the other hand. This was a fantastic experience especially thanks to the relationship with the different managers and with my team members (I was managing a group of 4 business analysts).

This was my first professional experience. I began working in Italy as FPA for the Italian subsidiary. This was a relatively small structure making distribution of PABX and other phone components for all the Italian market. After 4 years acting as FPA, I then relocated to the head office in Bois d'Arcy to take a larger role managing the different local FPAs of the southern Europe territories.
