EMEA Solution Practice Manager, backup and archive solutions (BURA)
- Reporting to EMEA VP, I lead the backup and archive (BURA) solution practice for EMEA
-Ensure training for BURA pre-sales specialists ( 80+ engineers EMEA wide)
-Initiate internal trainings and presentation to leverage sales effort
-Build solution approach strategy for key global accounts
-Deliver high end technical & strategy presentations (French/English) for EMC forums, customer or partners events
-Define the go to market strategy & roll out with EMC country managers
-Define the solution service portfolio and deliver it to sales forces


This EMEA wide position is an exciting challenge as the BURA program is key in EMC strategy, to deliver combined hardware/software/services solutions in ILM space


2002-2005 – EMC SOFTWARE (AKA LEGATO)
Technical Director, pre sales and consulting manager for Southern Europe
-Reporting to EMEA VP, I lead all pre-sales and consulting activities linked to direct and indirect sales for France, Italy, Iberica, North Africa and Switzerland.
-Manage 20+ pre sales organization, and define strategy for direct deals and channel accounts
-Deliver technical presentations to business events
-Develop consulting services sales, especially through negotiation of multi hundred thousands euro deals to large accounts for managed and implementation services
-Manage consulting team and lead project managers in delivery phases
A major achievement in the last 24 months was to successfully manage the transition for the pre-sales team in the EMC/Legato merge, keeping focus, motivation while growing and improving skills
