| A Post-Doctoral Researcher funded by the Human Frontier Science Program, I am involved in fundamental breast cancer research in a lab directed by Dr.
Pascal Meier at the Breakthrough Breast Cancer Research Center (Institute of Cancer Research) in London.
My current work involves the study of programmed cellular death regulation mechanisms and focuses on the in vivo study of interactions between caspases and inhibitors of apoptosis protein (IAPs).
I previously studied defence mechanisms against bacterial infections under the supervision of Dr.
Bruno Lemaitre in the Centre de génétique moléculaire du CNRS (Centre national de recherche scientifique) in the Paris area.
My work dealt mainly with the regulation of innate immune responses and focused on the analysis of NF-kappaB signalling pathways regulating the synthesis of antibacterial peptide. |
