Regional Medical Director, Eastern Europe & Mediterranean Regional Office (EEMRO), Global Medical Affairs / Global Pharmaceutical Research & Development

Provides strategic direction to the local EEMRO Affiliate Medical Directors, leads and coordinates regional initiatives involving the local Affiliate Medical Department and enables and assists the Affiliate Medical Directors to provide quality local services to GPRD. This position acts as the primary liaison between Global Medical Affairs senior management and the Affiliate Medical Directors. Also leads and coordinates the paricalcitol Excellence Team (chronic kidney disease) and the sibutramine Excellence Team R&D projects (obesity, diabetes…) in liaison with Global Project Teams based in Chicago and with the affiliates worldwide. In addition, leads the Pharmacovigilance Networking initiative for Europe, Latin America and Pacific- Asia.
