The company focus is related to OSS & Billing systems, my role jointly to this is to develop MIS offer (Mobility & Innovative Suite) and to sell it in Italy and in Europe. This to address the well knows Telco operators but also to address other markets with a big need of mobility. This establishing partnership with Hw & Sw manufacturers leaders (HP, Sun, …) to sell my company offer jointly with well recognized partner within Europe.
Between my results we have been accepted in fall, as the first supplier of Java Gaming by a big Telco Wireless provider in Italy when it opened this business, before my presence the company wasn’t in the mobile market with proper products. Next step now is to sell wireless applications with a back-end and then jointly with the telco operators, solutions to the corporate, selling also other system integration services.

Just hired, my role was to manage in person Mediterranean countries like Account Director, after 2 months I moved to the headquarter to support sales abroad Norway; to cover Country Manager role in the nation where absent and to support the company start-up where the country’s managing director was identified. I exercise all my power to improve the company awareness and positioning. Due to this my activity includes to speak in events or business lunch (Citigate, CNBC, …).
To understand better what going on in Europe on the market I created and managed an international group of study about new technology impact on the individuals and executives; this since I cover, ad interim, the Technology Strategist Director role for all European Market.

Omnitel Aziende contacted me to support new mobile services creation to its business customers, my mission was to ideate and to deliver new wireless data applications on the market.
Evaluated and built partner relationships for devices and applications, mobile, defined partner compensation, business and go to market model.

Within Omnitel 2000 idea, my scope was to define new services revenues model and to deliver those services through our multi-access portal (1st in Europe) using WAP, Internet & Speech recognition techniques to access, to browse and to interact with information.
We implemented innovative services as well as innovative E-Commerce system and micro payment on Internet, with extensions on WAP, Satellite, and Kiosks, taking care about law and local government implications.
I made partnership with: between others CNN in London, Playboy in Chicago, Epson in Amsterdam …) and another one was to decide and supervise the right media paradigm to deliver the related service;

I contributed, together with a couple of executives, to the Italian Sun Professional Services division Start-Up, and helped to develop other countries one’s since Sun was moving for the 1st time from Hardware selling to Solution selling. Made dissemination within organizations of Network Computing ideas, TCO, tiny computing, and 3 tier architectures. Implemented local and Europe wide agreement with local carrier operator and other actors to offer jointly and unified ECommerce solution.
My preliminary job description was Project Manager, I managed big project all around the world like the terrestrial infrastructure design and implementation of Iridium Project in Phoenix (AZ) or the go-live of the 1st Italian Internet Service Provider. After few months my role moved to Project Proposal/Selling and to create all needed things to facilitate my colleagues around Europe to do the same.

The company need was to scout and to define new product to sell on the market, specially tailored for video and multimedia store/management: Set Top-Boxes and Video on Demand server. I personally analysed all around the world building blocks and after developed it, proposed the final solutions all around Europe.

Stager
In that period I did cooperate with IBM R&D Labs in Pisa (Italy), I was one of firsts users, thank to my University, of the new Risc RT IBM 6150 systems, jointly with its graphic unit processor.

My thesis was developed all on that expert system using the Lucid Common Lisp and the Interleaf port on that system as text processor.
