I am convinced that one is (born) a psychotherapist,
one does not become one.
As I like teaching too, I first chose teaching, but I was spending a lot of my spare time reading Psychology books, and my students would come to me to talk about their problems.
As a result of a very sad event (my husband's death), I discovered astropsychology and was impressed by the accuracy of the diagnosis and by the results of the therapy. So I decided to go farther , out of pure curiosity, not knowing that it would be the beginning of a six year course!
Helping friends get better and friends' friends eventually lead me to opening my own practice in 2001.
I soon learnt and used two methods of energetic healing, which gave a more global approach of the patient, taking into account all three levels: mental, emotional and physical.
I am now a member of the BCMA (British Complementary Medecine Association).
Between 2001 and 2006, I had my own practice, in Blois, then in Tours. Moving to Tarbes made me give it up, but I would like to develop the same activity in this area.
Because another two year training in group-therapy convinced me of its efficiency, I now also organise workshops (in French or in English), for the following topics:
HOW TO SLOW DOWN OR TO STOP SMOKING
WHAT ILLNESSES REALLY MEAN
OVERCOMING BEREAVEMENT
FAMILY AND FORGIVENESS
Other topics will follow the needs.
Workshops usually take place at week-ends, in a quiet and friendly place north of Tarbes. They welcome no more than 6 participants at a time.
September 2007: I am now able to offer sessions in Equitherapy (psychotherapy facilitated by horses) 10mns away from Tarbes.
Even though I had already started with Equitherapy, the difficulty was to find a place for my double poney close to Tarbes.

As a psychotherapist, I have helped patients to overcome traumas (consequences of a divorce, difficult childhood, bereavement, rape...), nervous breakdowns, insomnia, addictions (smoking, alcohol, drugs), and even cancer in a few occasions. I have helped couples in their decision to separate or to stay together, and families to understand their internal conflicts and to solve them. I have also assisted patients in hospital before and after major operations. | |
