- Managing a team of 18 (8 directly). The team was responsible for regional services such as: DNS DHCP, Monitoring, Third party connection Remote Access, EPO for servers and clients, LAN and WAN. - Managed 3 major consolidation initiatives and a company acquisition project. The overall project involved the relocation of 20 servers at 8 sites across EMEA. - Managing vendor relationship with BT, responsible for setting up and controlling the budget (5 Million BGP). Implemented a change control process to control deviation from the baselined budget. - Day to day management of the team with weekly updates communicated to management. - Develop and promote a monitoring strategy that started in Q3 2006 and has finalized in Q2 2008. This includes the consolidation of 4 HPOV servers into 2 based at the RSC in a highly controlled and qualified environment. - Qualification of all the network services hosted at the Regional Data Centre (Q1 2007 - from design, IOQ creation to closure) - Redesign of the overall shift process for the operation team (7 persons). - Involved in all third party set-up for the region, and act as coordinator between operational teams and customer. - Owner of the service providing remote access to 5000 people across EMEA. 99.99998% uptime in 5 years. - Design and implementation of regional Remote Access Solutions (such as Iplink+, 3G, DSL, Dial up -VPN) in EMEA. - Management of a team of 3 persons in order to transition the WAN and RAS support from France to UK (2002 – 2003). - Creation of the support processes then training of the Operation Team on all RAS technologies (2000-2001). - Design, set-up and test of a Disaster recovery solution for the Remote Access Services (including: Dial-up, VPN, and authentication). (2001 and 2005) - Design and deployment of a wireless solution for home and roaming users (2004-2005) - Set-up, document a service to delegate ACE administration to all the Europeans IT groups. (2004). - Designed technical solution and processes for virus detection as well as establishing Global process to act against virus activities. Set-up, then transfer to operation teams EPO services providing AntiVirus protection to 10,000 computers in EMEA. Test and deployment coordination to 96 sites across EMEA. (2003-2004) - Design, set-up and qualification of the Internet infrastructure. The whole design is built on 5 zones for B2B connections, and web services. Project did last 6 months and included 3 dedicated permanent staff. (2004) - Design and set-up in 10 different locations light, portable solutions for VPN to Wyeth. The solutions were based on use of equipments such as Linksys, Netscreen, or end-user VPN. (2004) - Internal audit of Operations Teams and solution delivery for opportunities to bring efficiency.
