I gained extensive experience in all key European markets as an equity-linked derivatives trader for eight years with BNP Paribas Group. My first assignments included developing the Equity Derivatives Desk at BNP Paribas Germany on the Eurex exchange. In addition to managing plain vanilla and exotic option books I implemented some of the most successful proprietary trading strategies which are still used in BNP Paribas Group today. In 2000 I decided to go create the first of kind European equity derivatives OTC electronic platform for the inter-dealer market. AS a result, 4 years later, I run OTCex, a global European equity derivatives broker and seat on the board of Brokerhub UK, the leading European OTC equity derivatives platform.
