Currently, I work for Ricoh Europe where I develop and deploy the strategy of Remote Management Services for Document solutions in the EMEA market as Business Manager for nearly 2 years.

Business Manager:

The core part of my job is to plan, develop and promote @Remote business model to create new business offerings & opportunities in the EMEA market.

In addition, I ensure the successful development and delivery of marketing initiatives around the adoption and penetration of @Remote. I also provide solution and project management across the worldwide Ricoh Family Group (RFG).

As a result, @Remote market share in the EMEA has grown by 600%. In addition 122% of the Ricoh Strategic Management Objective has been reached in the last fiscal year 2007.

The scope of my position also covers:
- Management of cross-functional and cross-organisational project teams

- Liaison Function: work closely together with Ricoh Europe and Ricoh EMEA subsidiaries to coordinate the project approach

- Lead and run conferences to both internal and external audiences in order to achieve acceptance and support for implementation

- Establish a good working relationship with European Solutions Managers to identify and satisfy emerging requirements

- Regular collaboration with RFG Senior Executives

- Devise functional specifications of @Remote applications and ensure its implementation

From the development laboratory, I worked in partnership with the technical product manager.

The core part of my job was managing the product pre-launch. It consisted of extensive product research with the participation of major customers (e.g. Ford Uk, Fiat Italia): conducting product training, organising product testing, collecting test results and feedback and conducting analysis. The resulting data was fed back to the product development team for product improvement.

My duties also included:
- Planning the launch marketing strategies, selecting media channels and planning launch events.

- Managing customers’ expectations
- Training the distribution channels’ teams
- Liaising with internal and external high-level clients worldwide
