2008 - 2009The NGO Groupe Développement Tourisme France has perfected new tools to allow for the orientation of investments and tourism activities that aid local populations, and principally the poorest. Two main programs were worked out in a grid for understanding tourism projects from the indicators of sustainable development and with the guidance of a handbook of good practices for the reduction of poverty through tourism development.
As a missions representative, my responsibilities covered:
-Compilation of texts and redaction of reports on Transfer of Technology in Developing Countries in the field of Tourism ( http://www.acting-for-life.com/pdf/manuel_trans... )
-Mission of Sensitisation and Awareness Creation on Environmental Protection for SMEs and VSEs in the Tourism sector in Sri Lanka and Indonesia
-Organisation and coordination of workshops on Awareness on Environmental Protection for SMEs and VSEs in the Tourism sector in regions damaged by the Tsunami, in 2004
-Organisation and coordination of Round Tables on Environmental Sensitisation for SMEs and VSEs involving Local Tourist Operators and Local Authorities in Aceh area (Indonesia) and Arugam Bay region (Sri Lanka)
-Survey conducting towards tourist SMEs and VSEs in Brazil for the future implementation of sustainable tourism indicators
2007 - 2008Erita Asia conducts multidisciplinary researches, be they fundamental or applied, in the sectors of Tourism and Alimentation.
The main fields of specialisation concern Economics, Geography, Sociology, Anthropology, and Communication.
My primary job responsibilities as an intern (from August 2007 until March 2008) within the Research & Development Center was to assist Erita Asia with the organization of the 7th Asia Pacific Forum for Graduates in Tourism (June 2008) and the 2nd Asia-Euro Tourism Culture & Gastronomy Conference (November 2008).
My detailed job responsibilities thus covered:
- to be the secretariat for all communications and correspondence with the delegates in matters related to both the conferences
- to coordinate with the delegates in compilation of their papers and presentations
- to assist, develop and update the conference website
- to assist insourcing of potential speakers and delegates
- to market the conference via email, fax and mail to all potential speakers and delegates in Malaysia and Internationally
- to coordinate the logistics on the organization of the conference with the conference committee
As a Research Assistant, I have additionally been assisting in a study conducted for the Ministry Of Tourism of Malaysia on:
The spending Behavior of the Japanese and the South Korean Tourists: an Assessment of the Leakage in Tourist Spending.
My responsibilities there encompassed:
- the literature review,
- the redaction of the inception and interim report,
- the setting up of focus group study,
- the handling of sites survey (questionnaires and interviews) in Peninsular Malaysia and Borneo.
My other job responsibilities also included:
- to assist in the compilation and publishing of the second Tourism Review,
- to coordinate the 3rd Research Seminar for Erita Asia members in end of October 2007,
- to assist in the administration of consultancy projects undertaken by Erita Asia and CPE.
2006 - 2006The UDOTSI du Gers (Departmental Union of Gers Tourist Information Offices) is an association that ensures technical and juridical support to the tourist bureaus of the department.
The union coordinates primarily an accurate and homogeneous development of the offices’ network in terms of reception, information, promotion, infrastructure and planning.
Its core mission lies thus in the enrichment and professionalization of the network as well as in the enhancement of the department heritage value.
My primary job responsibilities as an intern (from May 2006 until August 2006) within the UDOTSI du Gers was to assist the main coordinator with the organization of the yearly Documentation Forum for departmental and regional tourist entities (May 2006) and to manage the administrative procedure of the “Villes et Villages Fleuris” competition in the department (June & July 2006).
My detailed job responsibilities thus encompassed:
• The arrangement of the tourist documentation resource centre
• The documentation re-supplying through the department’s tourist offices
• To coordinate the logistics on the organization of a training day for municipal green workers with the partners (CAUE 32 and “Arbre et Paysage 32”)
• To assist, develop and update the intranet database with File Maker Pro on Macintosh
• To be the secretariat for all communications and correspondence with the city councils and particulars in matters related to both the forum and the “Villes et Villages Fleuris” competition
• The edition of a criteria guidelines leaflet for the jury of the “Villes et Villages Fleuris” competition regarding the three main areas : Vegetation and Landscape, Environment, Tourism and Involvement
• The redaction of press reviews about the UDOTSI’s activities during the “Villes et Villages Fleuris” competition
2006 - 2006Stan'art project called Cocoricopyright was the "crazy dream come true" of an ex-rugby player of the French national team, Cedric Soulette.
He indeed created a 2 meters high structure in fibreglass representing a cock (the French national sportive symbol) to be sold to enterprises that wished to sponsor an artist to customise it.
All the pieces were then exhibited during the Rugby world cup 2007 in Toulouse, Paris and St Denis.

As I was soon leaving to Malaysia, I only worked there 3 months.
My job responsibilities were:
- to market the project to potential customers (firms)
- to be the secretariat for all communications and correspondence
- to assist in the writing of the marketing and press files
2005 - 2009The charity “Yoõdé” cares about the orphans of Koudougou in Burkina Faso and collects funds through the organisation of events and through communication in order to provide them scolarship and education.
The project started in 2005 and nowadays 11 children benefit from the charity and enjoy going to school !
2005 - 2007As a part time hostess for City One Events in France, Toulouse my responsibilities were mainly to welcome and advise customers during specific public events such as :
-concerts,
-seminars,
-congresses,
–Toulouse Football Club Matches,
-Galas,
-etc.
2005 - 2005My main job responsibilities as an intern at the Auch (France) Tourist Information Office was to welcome and deliver information to tourists in French, English, German and Spanish languages.
During this internship, I additionally wrote a report on the Quality Approach in Tourist Offices.
2003 - 2006As a part-time tele-advisor in EDF and GDF call center my duties were customer oriented.
My responsabilities covered the management of every aspect of their account:
-opening and closing of accounts
-invoice explanations
-paiement options advising
-complaints management
-deferment of a debt decision making (until certain amount)
-technical advising
-emergency calls (gas leaking, electricity disconnection, etc.)
2002 - 2002The three campsites Le Vieux Port (****), Lou Pignada (****) and La Marina (***) are upscale open air establishments in the South-Western France (Messanges, Landes).
