RES Consultant was set-up in 2006 with the aim of building a firm based on deep relationships with a small number of clients.
We aim to work for no more than one or two clients in each sector and to focus on those assignments where we believe we can add real strategic value to the business.
Based in Moscow, RES Consultant conduct senior level executive search across a broad range of sectors and geographies. Subject to this, we work across virtually all sectors and functions.
Because RES Consultant is young and small it can work flexibly with its clients, designing and then managing a search process which matches their timetable, internal constraints or confidentiality concerns.
We do not consider specialization to be a virtue in itself. Our clients are the true sector specialists. If they had the answer to a search under their nose we could add little for them.
We are able to take this approach as our expertise lies in identifying talented people with high potential and a strong appetite to achieve. We understand that such individuals will not necessarily be found within a specific nationally defined sector or from an existing generation of leaders. Apart from situations where a particular expertise is required, the best individuals can successfully move between sectors.
We search for example for: CEOs, CFOs, Divisional CEOs, Group Marketing Directors, HR Directors and GR/Corporate Affairs Managers. Recent clients include companies in the Metals, Machinery, Chemical, Mining, Industrial, Retail, Consumer Goods, Media, Business Services, Transport, Software and Technology sectors.
We have experience of every corporate situation - de-merger, IPO, restructuring, crisis (operational and financial), transformation and 'steady state' - and the considerations, concerns, language and timetable that accompany them.
We also work extensively for mid-cap enterprises, private companies and leading private equity firms. A significant portion of our business is with clients in Europe and Russia.
RES Consultant is a new company and we are developing our business by building strong relationships with a small number of clients. Our ability to operate is less constrained than is likely to be the case with large, long-established search businesses, which have to build their search strategies to take account of many different clients and the sometimes conflicting interests of offices located in different countries.
