• Reorganize vendor management team and reporting processes.
• Implement new budget control and SLA performance/ satisfaction reporting processes (Balanced Scorecards, Key Performance Indicators, Performance Audits, Key Element Assessments).
• Supervise Occupancy Planning, Workplace Health and Safety, Energy Management.
• Close 2 sites, restack 4 buildings; plan operations, move-in and operate a new 17,000 M² building.
• Integrate 3 new sites into the facilities management and budget processes.
• Initiate and operate web-based document management and reporting tools.

• Perform due diligence and assist acquisition for 4 data centers and a technology park.
• Negotiate lease with a new tenant; re-start Amsterdam data center facilities operations.
Manage leases and tenant relations at Amsterdam and Geneva data centers (€ 2.3 MM rent p.a.).
Assist data center space lease negotiations with world-class IT clients and real estate portfolio managers.

Start up “hard and soft” facilities management services at Geneva Data Center / European management headquarters, a 24x7 Tier IV internet hosting environment for financial and industrial clients (budget $ 1.2 MM, 6,000 M²). Set up offices for 85 European HQ executives and staff.

• Complete construction (value: $ 25 MM), establish FM operations to achieve 99.99 % uptime.
• Validate/ commission plant and equipment, technical systems, structural and finishing works.
• Negotiate regional facilities maintenance and repair service contracts. Manage vendor relationships.
• Establish procurement, occupancy planning, security, business continuity, business/office services support and workplace health and safety.
• Negotiate long-term leases, define and deliver services packages, calculate pricing and accomplish fit-out for the Geneva site’s financial services “anchor” tenants (35% of lettable space).
• Control facilities operations and budgets for hosting centers in Amsterdam (10,500 M²; facilities budget $ 1.4 MM) and in Paris (3,700 M²; facilities budget $ 1 MM).
Consultant for FM issues at Hosting Centers in London (12,000 M²) and Berlin (7,000 M²).
• Negotiate leases for Geneva and Amsterdam data centers to a U.K.- based investor group.
• Sublease, reconfigure then sell 6,400 M² European customer support facility.
Relocate 70 customer support staff to reconfigured Geneva space with no service interruption.
• Design, provide technical sales support and build out a 120 M² “hot” DR site for an international financial services client.
