Start up “hard and soft” facilities management services at Geneva Data Center / European management headquarters, a 24x7 Tier IV internet hosting environment for financial and industrial clients (budget $ 1.2 MM, 6,000 M²). Set up offices for 85 European HQ executives and staff. • Complete construction (value: $ 25 MM), establish FM operations to achieve 99.99 % uptime. • Validate/ commission plant and equipment, technical systems, structural and finishing works. • Negotiate regional facilities maintenance and repair service contracts. Manage vendor relationships. • Establish procurement, occupancy planning, security, business continuity, business/office services support and workplace health and safety. • Negotiate long-term leases, define and deliver services packages, calculate pricing and accomplish fit-out for the Geneva site’s financial services “anchor” tenants (35% of lettable space). • Control facilities operations and budgets for hosting centers in Amsterdam (10,500 M²; facilities budget $ 1.4 MM) and in Paris (3,700 M²; facilities budget $ 1 MM).
