I'm a technical project manager specialising in internet based solutions for businesses.
My unique ability of understanding the technical, marketing and business side of a project gives me a great advantage as it enables me to understand programmers, sales people and company directors and work with people at multiple levels.
In a way this ability was a result of being exposed to a wide variety of markets and sectors.
My career started from IBM R&D Labs, mainly working with managers worldwide on performance reporting based on OS/390, VM, MVS and Lotus Notes/Domino.
At the same time I started working with Microsoft UK on beta-testing software such as Windows 98, Visual Studio, SQL Server 6.5...with Soapbox and Windows Live Mail being the latest things to test.
Things continued with working on a mixture of roles in ICL/Fujitsu on the London Transport project (most of the people who live in London know all about the technology changes in the transport system: tube, buses, trains).
Shortly after that I join the Hellenic Airforce as a Telecoms Specialist working on things that I can't mention here I'm afraid.
After that, I joined a big Microsoft Gold Partner company specialising in the Pharmaceutical industry, as a technical project manager. They probably are No.1 in the UK market.
And finally Naxtech, an Internet services firm with a very unique setup and working environment. Indeed a challenging role yet very fulfilling.
