From Jan 2002: Alcatel-Lucent – Based in Abu Dhabi – UAE From Feb. 07 General Project Manager – Qatar – Qtel Account Accountable for P&L and for the strategic overall program management (Customer, structure and staffing), I manage the Core team (Program Management Officer, Chief Technical Officer and Roll-out Manager) responsible for all operational activities in the execution of the Qtel multi-product contracts valued at 20 M€ for the first 3 quarters 2007. In close collaboration with the Sales Manager, I work on the development of the current business in the frame of the projects and participate in all negotiations with the Customer regarding the contract evolution such as the following: •Transfer our current scope of activities leaded by Wireless technology (GSM, UMTS) to the Wireline and Convergence business (IPDSLAM, Switch E10, ATM Backbone, IN); •Promote new technology such as WIMAX, New Payment platform, IP Backbone enhancement and IMS; •Sustain Indoor building solutions expertise to carry out 60 buildings for 2008. 2005 – 2007 Project Manager – Radio Access BSS/UTRAN Under authority of the General Project Manager, I was accountable for the execution of BSS/UTRAN mobile radio projects. Beyond respecting dead lines, quality and budget in order to keep and/or improve the profit margin and the turnover of the projects, I achieved the following objectives on below accounts: Qtel – Qatar GSM/GPRS/UMTS National Operator •Build-up roll-out and technical support team (30 to 80 people in 1.5 year) to match with the GSM expansion and UMTS introduction (50 M€ of orders since June 05) and important milestones (3G commercial launch in June 2006, Asian Games extension and support services in December 2006, HSDPA launch in June 2007); •Reduce the cost of the contracts by increasing the number of local resources (25 people) and promoting the low cost subcontractors; •Set-up of Operation & Maintenance team (15 people) to operate Qtel 3G network; •Optimize the working capital by improving the invoicing and payment process. Etisalat – UAE GSM/GPRS/UMTS National Operator •Build-up dedicated roll-out team for indoor building solution frame agreement (80 buildings a year); •Launching and delivery of the new contract (400 Network Elements) on tight schedule (3 months); •Ramp-up of local and sub-contracted resource dedicated to RNO and O&M audit (10 people); •Launching of HSDPA field trial. 2002 – 2005 Management System Manager After 1 year as Metrics & Non Conformities responsible (VIE contract), I took the lead of the Quality Management System of Regional Support Center Africa, Middle East and Indian subcontinent (More than 50 GSM, GPRS and UMTS projects), and achieved the implementation of: •The overall Customer Satisfaction Management processes including the TL9000 metrics monitoring, Customer complaint management and Customer Satisfaction assessment; •Internal communication tools (project alert management, intranet, trainings and introduction to new processes; •Guides, checklists and templates in order to better control the project life cycle. | |
