I was a System Tester from 2005 - 2006 and a Lead Tester from 2006 - 2007.

My biggest achievement was making the jump from a System Tester to a Test Team Lead within a year and handling a project that had over 100 seperate items within it that required managing and Testing. I had to also compete with the problem of not having a mentor to guide me through this time as one year in Testing is a short time in terms of how much there is to learn. I also had to become a Manager as well and sit in on High Level meetings which is something I had not done previously and was a very steep learning curve.

I now want to work for myself as a Contractor where I do not have the constraints of being tied to a Company and where I can have more influnce over how the work is managed and how projects are run and try to get across my attitude of how work should be conducted, which is with integrity, honesty and professionalism.
