Part of the dunnhumby academy of Consumer research -Kent Business School,University of Kent,Canterbury,United Kingdom- I am looking at supermarket shoppers'behaviour.
Research question is to llok at the role of involvement in the attention paid to ecolabels. The theory of involvement predicts taht food choice are habtual purchase and do not stimulate stong interest therefore usually the information search is being kept at a low level.
Using the dunnuhumby database will permit to gain insights from shoppers an understand thier profile and their preferences. the second part of the PhD necessitate ti understand shoppers choices and will entail focus groups analysis.
the aim of the PhD is to help marketers and policy makers of eco labels by rpoving a different shoppers interest varies through a continuum.
