Pilot the construction of a new production line to manufacture CATERPILLAR's excavators. Identify the customer needs, generate the process specifications, select the technologies and the suppliers, survey the design, manufacturing and installation, organize the commissioning, and provide guidance during the startup. Manage a team of 6 engineers, and an investment of 6 M€ over a total of 10 M€

• Pilot the products formulation and transfer between the US and the French production facilities. Manage an international Six Sigma team (15 people, 1M€)
• Technical interface between the production leadership team and the production engineers for process/product improvements.
• Teach the Kodak Six Sigma program for Technicians and Engineers at a Green Belt level and mentor the certification projects.

• Standardize and optimize the production processes through the use of Experimental Design, SPC and international benchmarking
• Participate to the start-up of a new production facility in China.
• Propose process/product modifications to increase process line yield and capacity (20 % capacity improvement on medical X-ray products)
• In the United States: Develop a new method to validate physical models of the manufacturing process. As the result the cost of product development was reduced by 30%
