| After a 9 months internship for Sagem Communication, I just started a new position as Marketing Executive for JVC Europe in London.
As a marketing assistant for Sagem Communication, I was fully responsible of the marketing on the launch of a new digital brand. My duties covered several Marketing topics like public relations and communication, benchmark, market studies and merchandising. This position was a very good opportunity to discover the practical part of Marketing.
This position was the final step of my studies. As I have been following a 6 months specialised master in Strategy and Marketing at the Management School (EM) in Lyon, France, I needed this experience to finalise my courses and to write my final report. On the one hand, this increased my theoretical knowledge with the Master’s degree and, on the other hand, enhanced both my professional and personal experience abroad.
From April 2005 to August 2006, I was a Property Consultant for Boulle International, a Real Estate Consulting agency in London, in charge of South Kensington. My main assignment was to keep in touch with owners and clients. On a different level, I assisted the Company Manager in recruitment and training and help new recruits to settle down. In the same time, I was also pursuing my studies through a correspondence course with the CNAM (Conservatoire national des arts et métiers). Having successfully passed my degree as Professional Secretary, I wanted to concentrate on a Business and/or Marketing degree focused on the international market. I have thus decided to follow a DESE (Diplôme d'Etudes Supérieures en Economie) degree (through a correspondence course) with an optional subject in Business and International Markets.
Between 2002 and 2004, As just said before, I followed a block-release training program with Johnson & Johnson over two years (until August 2004) to become Professional Secretary (BTS Assistant de Direction). I took care of RoC cosmetics registration abroad (obtaining authorizations from Customs and Local Authorities) and of regulatory intelligence in the countries concerned (about 40). I spoke in English with my contacts (agents or affiliated members) about confidential, technical and legal documents to authorize the sale of RoC products in their country. |
