After a college course focused on political economics and management, I aknowledged that economy should be a tool for social and human development. That is why I chose to orient my course by entering the Master "Development and Expertise of the Social Economy" at the IEP (Institute for Political Studies) in Grenoble (France).
My double french and german culture as well as the multicultural environment in which I grew up led me to follow an international course. During this course, I had the opportunity to aknowledge that many issues to which the social economy is confronted are transnational.
I now want to take the direction of support activities to social economy, especially as a tool to fight against poverty and exclusion. A major stake from my point of view is to build bridges between the players of social economy by enabling them to mutualize their knowledge and expertise.
My other interest in social economy is the crisis-regulator function of the associations, which are, I think, great tool for local and human development.
Last, the forecoming political issues France is facing rise the question of the possibility for citizens to take their political responsibility. That is why I try to encourage this empowerment through my work with the ACEP (http://www.christiansinpolitics.org/index.php) as well as with Forum Civique (http://www.forumcivique.com). This empowerment will come through a betterunderstanding of Europe, its mechanisms and the social issues we will have to face in a near future.
