With two exams in cooking and restaurant service (BEP-CAP) and two in hotel management and marketing (BTH-BTS), i started my career in a Marriott Country Club Hotel in England (2 years) to improve my english.
Back to the continent through Belgium, i got a position of assistant F&B manager and got promoted to F&B manager in Holiday Inn Brussels (3 years).
Thirsty to discover new horizons, i joined Club Med Holiday Resorts in 2001 as F&B manager and purchasing manager (Econome). I did a lot of travelling, from Moroco, to French Alpes montain, Tunisia, Bahamas, Turks and Caicos Islands, Malaysia, Maldives. After 5 years, i got promoted to a position of Hotel Services Manager (resident manager) in Thailand (Phuket).
My plan is to stay until spring 2008 and then to be transfered to another Club Med resort or to move out and kick a new career outside of Club Med.

I am interested in Quality Hotels with new trends, detail management strategy, situated in beautifull suroundings not far from green mother nature.

My girlfriend is from Bali and we are together for 2 years now. Asia is the part of the word where we see our future.

Club Med has been pioneer in a unique concept of holidays with All Inclusive packages for the last 55 years. From sports, to food, drinks, activities, entertainement all is paid in advance. For the last 3 years, the stategy has changed drasticaly : the goal is to provide luxurious vacations in a friendly atmosphere. At the other end of 5, 6 stars hotels where vacations might be boring, Club Med provide G.O's (Gentle Organisers) who are here to make your holiday enjoyable.
My position as Hotel Services manager covers housekeeping, reception, seminar, restaurants, kitchens and bars. As Operation manager, i have for each department a head manager who report to me.
My first task was to maintain and improve the quality in all departments as well as dealing with day to day operational issues. New concept of Bar and Snacking was put in place and new managers integration was a succes.
On the other hand, i had a huge task : to review all contracts with outside suppliers and update them.
After 7 month, i have achieve good result in terms of quality, measured by our "Guest survey". Financialy, overall was achieved.
