Resident in Tokyo, I am very much interested in helping foreign companies in Japan and Japanese companies going international, especially in Eastern Europe. This can be start-ups, turn-around situations, communications and finding the right partners or products as well as providing equity finance for M&A and start-up companies. |

CTA has been since 20 years with the same distributor in Japan and in the last five years the sales were scaled down below the minimum required. There was an urgent need to restructure the whole organization. Within a year a new system has been implemented allowing the warehouse control (nobody knew how many stocks were in the warehouse), a synchronization between orders placed with Paris office, the existing stock and DLC of the products (jam, chocolate, biscuits, foie gras, coffee, tea, wines, champagne and liquors). Also a new shop design has been created, PR activities increased and the brand image support widened, as well as intensive sales training provided to the distributor sales division. By end 2006 CTA will have a new distributor in Japan with its own boutique in Tokyo and new staff dedicated to the brand CTA. | |
