My job had three main aspects :
•Project management and planning for CTD Part 3 redaction of two new vaccines.
•CTD amendment redaction to ensure the compliance with EMEA guidelines.
•Budgeting and planning the 2007 activities for ICC service, using a self-made method of charge estimation.

Etude d’opportunité sur la creation d’un MIT français à Paris

2 months feasibility study for the creation of a french MIT in Paris

This study has been done during the Advanced Masters in Technology Innovation & Project Management courses. We interviewed different stakeholders : city of Paris, Préfecture d’Ile de France, pôle de compétitivité Meditech santé, INSERM… to collect their expectations.
A short report has been addressed to our client : ISTM (Institut Supérieur de Technologies et Management)

As Vice-President and treasurer of the association « L’Etoile de l’Espoir » a children’s charity, I organized the first European Parliament of Children in Strasbourg in May 2004. The objectives were to provide a new way of expression for children’s rights, and to introduce the children to their European deputies. This parliament was a success; Pat Cox, president of the European parliament, has asked us to continue the project.

Subject: Crystallographic studies of RiboNucleicAcids fragments complexed with aminoglycosides antibiotics.

I succesfully solved 12 structures, submitted 6 publications, 2 posters and made 2 oral presentations during scientific meetings

•Research and Development of new antibiotics, improvement of aminoglycosides derivatives.

•Industrial (Vernalis Ltd, IBIS Pharmaceuticals) academic (swiss, german, canadian laboratories) and institutional (European Union) partnership management.

•Planning, budgeting and purchasing of equipment.

•Students (undergraduate) and post-doc management

•Software used: Microsoft Office, Adobe creative Suite and structural biology tools (CNS, HKL2000, AMoRe)

Six month Industrial training period in structural Biology

Subject: Studies of proteins complexed with pharmaceutical drugs: crystallogenesis, production and optimisation of new protein/inhibitor complexes.

During this period, I provided to the compagny 3 complexes
•Screen of crystallization conditions for new molecular targets (proteins, nucleic acids)

•Handling of protein/inhibitor complexes for their crystallographic studies

•Collaboration with chemistry and biology departments in Vitry-sur-Seine research center
