Innovative technologies are the prime driving force of my vocation towards science and engineering. I early directed my education towards space industry, motivated by the space oriented environment of Toulouse where I grew up. Following my becoming a mechanical engineer, with a few aerospace post-graduate add-ons and some relevant trainings (e.g. two phase loop R&D at CNES), I joined EADS Astrium to perform thermal analyses on satellites. The team I was part of was developing advanced thermal control for sub-systems or spacecraft from initial concept through production release, performing technology analysis and evaluation, architecture and design, qualification and documentation to meet performance, manufacturability, cost and reliability targets. During 5 years of proactive duty, I have been taking part in many projects, what gives me a wide overview of the different space missions (LEO, GEO, probes, ISS experiments …) but also have had the opportunity to work on projects from scratch until final delivery on orbit, getting an actual know-how in overcoming everyday technical or relational pitfalls along the development phases sequence.
Parallel to those technical activities, I have also been experiencing some management activities within the context of bid teams, supervision of engineering design and monitoring of the computer time / cost killing program in the thermal department.
Then involved as a senior software engineer in the development, maintenance and technical support of the ALSTOM Thermal Software Suite [ESATAN FHTS ESARAD ThermXL ThermNV] in UK.
Back to France as a project manager in the eco-friendly oriented building industry, I recently moved to join LATelec as manager of the space design office.
