• Earlier this year won a contract with Millicom, a mobile operator, in 16 countries, across Central/South America; Africa and Asia for the implementation of an IT based Workflow Tool worth US$2.6M (3 countries) initially and worth an additional US$10M within 2 years.
• Increasing revenue for Vodafone account particularly in relation to IT professional services.
• Last year turned around a lost prospect with Celtel for 14 countries in Africa as a winning deal for Andrew – now being extended into the MTC group (Zain), Celtel’s new Kuwaiti owner.

• Liaised closely with clients, as key point of contact, developing an understanding of their business requirements to expand activity on the accounts, primarily on DSL. Closed a £35M DSL deal with OnCue Telecommunications.

This was a sales role - selling complex ATM/IP and intelligent Voice-Data multiplexing network hardware, management software and services into the major telecom operators either directly or latterly through strategic partners like Siemens, Alcatel and Lucent.

• Responsible for leading a global Newbridge winning team, comprising up to twenty people, on the previous Global One Consortium comprising France Telecom, Deutsche Telekom and Sprint USA
• Won initial contract orders of over $10m (Global One) leading to ongoing business over the subsequent 4-5 years worth $100m for Newbridge, with the development of Deutsche Telekom and France Telecom networks
• Built effective business relationships across the consortium and with Siemens, as the OEM distributor, delivering technical, marketing, logistics and finance and support resources
• Earlier won significant other business in Europe and the Middle-East.
