After a sabbatical year, fully dedicated to instruct Taekwondo to children in order for them to become better persons (Web site: www.yidojang.piczo.com), I am ready to take on a new and interesting professional challenge. Here are, for your perusal, some of my experience highlights I can share with an ambitious company: • Experience in the IT industry I have more than 20 years of experience in the IT industry, coming across many specific markets such as PC, peripherals, LAN/WAN solutions, software, web services, consulting and all related services. • Recruitment and management of a channel I had the opportunity, with WRQ, to participate to the strategy definition of the worldwide channel strategy and to successfully execute it both in Europe and Asia Pacific, making sure we were taking into account the multiple evolutions of the market as well as the regional specificities. • Solution selling to Corporate It is my conviction that you cannot get a proper business partners channel without a strong demand generation process. And this process required me to be involved in specific sales strategies and tactics, involving C level decision makers as well as technical departments. • Business relationships in Asia Pacific During my 5 years in the region, I could build strong relationships with people from Corporate, distributors, resellers and Vars’, journalists as well as several governmental organizations. • Entrepreneurial spirit I founded my own company (ReseauDis) and run it for 5 years before selling it. This was a fantastic experience that allowed me to learn about other business sides such as finance, accounting, HR or marketing. I could use this experience and learn even more when I founded and managed the WRQ subsidiary for France and Southern Europe. When I joined the Asia Pac subsidiary, while insuring the right levels of revenue and profits, I opened brand new markets for the company in China Mainland, India and South Korea. • Working with a US company All along my career, I worked either with of for US based companies. This allowed me to learn how to deal in an international environment, far from the headquarters, and to embrace US management and organizational processes. • Management experience I became a manager quite early in my career, thus I could build a thorough management experience that allows me, today, to tackle the challenges that are implied and to know how to lead and motivate a team, insuring it adheres to a general project and helping it to achieve short and long term objectives.
