Sector: Organization and Strategy

TNO Defence, Security and Safety acts as a strategic partner of the Ministry of Defence. In this capacity it offers innovative contributions to improve the security of the Netherlands.
In Security and Safety the focus lies on fighting crime, calamities and terrorism. Apart from this, TNO Defence, Security and Safety works for the space, aerospace and maritime sectors, these being the market areas in which Defence traditionally has a considerable stake and where the spin-off of defence-related technologies may be of great value. In the aerospace sector it mainly focuses on improving security and safety, whereas in the maritime sector it also concentrate on shipbuilding itself.

I worked as a preoject engineer on the study of the Dynamic response of a laminated galzing window to a blast load. By creating a numerical model thanks to LS-Dyna and validated it by comparing to experiments.
