Now, I am reponsible for the Controlling service and I manage another financial analyst.
I am currently implementing Cognos Planning to run the financial budgets.
This is a very interesting experience as "project manager".
This will allow the budget process to be more efficient, more secure and we will be able to provide more added-value to decision-makers.
I am also a privileged contact concerning financial matters for (Pharmaceutical) Project managers and Business managers : sustain change management, build forecasts, add calculations, etc.

My role as a Financial Analyst:
First, I settled all the elements of an efficient Controlling system (yearly and revised budgets, monthly & on-line reporting, specific analyses, treasury forecasts) provided by the new accounting software (Pro-Concept ERP). This required to understand the business, clean and organize the data, create SQL requests and reports through the ERP and Excel.
In the same time, I had to explain to all users the new concepts, procedures and tools, and keep an attentive listening to manager needs.
