I am a neuroscientist by training and run research laboratories at the University of California at San Francisco (UCSF) and University College London (UCL) from 1991 to 1997, when I was appointed Lecturer at UCL. In 2001, I enrolled into the Sloan Masters Course at the London Business School and after graduation, I set up Entelliz Limited (previously JEZZ Remedies Ltd) in 2002 to provide commercialisaion, business management and IP development services for technology ventures. January 2008 I am launching the online version of my consultancy.

2006 - 2007 : NHS

Managing Director
I was in charge of developing the business and funding plan for the NHS' National Technology Training Hub for (THOTH) and following a successful bid for close to £2million funding, I was appointed Managing Director in 2006.

THOTH was officially launched on the 1st April 2006, with a mission to help to accelerate the adoption of new healthcare technologies in the NHS and beyond and a vision to become the world's leading technology training knowledge centre. During my 18 month at THOTH, we launched 2 new products - both of which were endorsed by the Department of Health and the NHS - and established a 600+ strong membership community with its own newsletters and live forums.

2004 - 2005 : NHS

Head of Intellectual Property Management
The North Central London Innovation Hub (NCLIH), which I was the Head of, was in charge of Intellectual Property (IP) management and commercialisation for 12 NHS Trusts, including University College, Royal Free, Whittington, Great Ormond Street, Moorfields Eye and Royal National Orthopaedic Hospitals.

Lecturer and Research Director
I raised funding for and directed several collaborative research projects to imporve our understanding of the causes of cardiovascular diseases and stress. I was also involved medical education.
