I have been working as a freelance translator since 1999. Back in the 80s, I did my first minor translations as a bilingual secretary. After some years I decided to attend evening classes to complete the A-levels, after which time I had a further training to become a certified, state-recognized translator (staatlich anerkannter Übersetzer) at the Englisches Institut in Heidelberg.
I also have a good knowledge of French, Italien (fluent), Latin and Spanisch. I hope to also take on Italian translations in tourism and business in the years to come.
