I co-founded LTU in 2000, a spin off from INRIA based on an image recognition technology that we (the founders) developped while at INRIA. After selling image recognition for e-commerce apps in 2000, we succesfully developped visual search engines for law enforcement and forensics apps.
LTU was succesfully sold to JASTEC, a japanese listed company, in Feb 2005.
I am still with LTU, now heading the company from our DC office. I took over as a CEO in October 2007.
My expertise ranges from tech development - especially algorithms and GUI - to tech management, product definition, but also the creation, funding and management of a tech start-up.
