BNP Paribas Group Corporate Development is a team of 10 people reviewing major mergers, divestitures, acquisitions and partnerships. It is also liaising with top management and various internal contacts to map out and present BNP Paribas strategy. I am the Analyst who is focusing on the corporate and investment banking industry.

I am maintaining a fact data base, presenting reports on our competitors and their positioning, and liaising with some internal departments.

I am also taking part in different ad hoc projects (Corporate and Investment Bank Investor Day, etc).

Cortal Consors is currently operating in 6 countries. It is one of the leading companies in online brokerage and investments in Germany and France. It is a subsidiary of BNP Paribas which enters the capital of Geojit, a leading Indian brokerage company, in March 2007.

I was contributing to the strategic studies, and the aquisition initiation and execution process internationally (macro-economic studies, competitive studies, business plans, valuations, legal and fiscal issues).

On some projects, I was liaising with investment bankers, strategy consultants. I was also regularly liaising with internal departments (controlling, finance, marketing).

Secafi Alpha Consultants advise elected representatives of works councils on annual accounts and estimates, warning rights and economic redundancies.

I researched domestic and foreign retail banking industries and analysed French financial institutions (Azur-GMF, Barclays France, Sanpaolo France, LeasePlan France, Gecina, Equalt Alternative Asset Management, etc).

I interviewed with top executives and presented reports to our clients.
