Start by creating a private Forum and the click the 'Make Public' link
Private Forums
Private Forums are not visible in the public Forum directory. Membership to these Forums are private and by invitation only. The manager of the Forum can invite their contacts, who can then invite their contacts and so on...

You can receive new messages from your Forums by email
Just got to 'Email Notifications' and edit the frequency that you would like to receive the emails.
