• In cooperation with patent attorneys, preparation and prosecution of patent applications.
- The position involves all of the technical aspects of patent prosecution, including doing background and prior art searches, drafting the specifications and preparing reference figures for patent applications, and giving technical expertise during invention evaluation.
• Following of concurrent patent portfolio.
• Protection of the portfolio against acts of counterfeit.

Sektor: Luftfahrtindustrie

• Unmanned Air Vehicle (UAV) program for the French DGA:
- coordinator (3 industrial partners) of the answer to the DEVIL call for tender for the ongoing DVI definition study.
- DVI study: supervisor of the flying platform study, fulfilling army and marine requirements, among the partner’s design offices; assistant to the head of project and head of program.
• Research activities:
- development of a cost model & coupling with a pre-design tool (VIVACE European Program);
- contribution to the High Speed Helicopter study;
- contribution to the alternative heat engines study.
• Competition activities: technological development monitoring for EC135 and participation to the new engine requirements definition for the Eurocopter fleet.

• Work Package Coordinator of the Rotary Wing part of the CAPECON (Civil UAV Applications & Economic Effectivity of Potential Configuration Solutions) European Program. Management of eight European partners (Industrial, Universities, Research Institutes).
• Competition analysis studies, internal and external.
• Contribution to the ENHANCE European program, aiming at defining common ways of working to start a wide concurrent engineering implementation in the European aeronautical sector. Definition/management of a business case dedicated to a pre-design study, with 6 partners.
• Contribution to projects of synergy between Ottobrunn and Marignane.

• In charge of the Eurocopter Deutschland contribution to the RESPECT European program. Development of new flight maneuvers for critical cases in different helipad configurations.
• Contribution to the French-German CHANCE governmental program:
complete helicopter (fuselage + rotor) simulation.

Advanced Studies Department –

• PhD: „Shape optimization and automatic differentiation“.
Development (conception, implementation, validation) of a multi-platform optimization process.
• Contribution to the new Falcon’s airfoil design.
• Contribution to the multi-disciplinary optimization (MDO) Brite-Euram European program.
